Coach CJ Shane Named TSLA D1 AA Assistant Coach of the Year

Ravenwood Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach CJ Shane has been named TSLA D1AA Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Shane leads the Raptors JV team as head coach and serves as Defensive Coordinator for the varsity squad.

Head Coach Alan Garner was effusive in his praise for his assistant. "CJ was always there with a positive attitude and words of encouragement - even when we were going through difficult times. Time and time again he comes through for this program both on and off the field. Through thick and thin Coach Shane keeps his eyes on the prize. He's helped a number of our players get recruited. He's also been there for them during difficult family times, scholastic challenges and more. Then, he finds and implements a defensive plan that was spot on for the championship game, holding Brentwood to a season low 5 goals. Simply put, we don't win it all without him. Ravenwood is lucky to have Coach Shane on staff and I wouldn't trade him for anyone."

Coach Garner wrapped up his comments, "Congratulations my friend, you deserve it!"
